Design for 4th issue of the Archival Activations zine series—a multi-year project for activating Mariame Kaba’s personal collection through publications. This one is about a prison fire in Ohio in 1930, that led to the death of 300+ inmates due to negligence from the prison guard. The accompanying illustration is a foldout. Set in Cedar by XYZ Type and Nitti Grotesk by Bold Monday.
